Miracles of Modern Science at Mercury Lounge 12/1/2010

What you get when you see Miracles of Modern Science live:

1) a jubilant, tap-dancing (in the coolest way possible) upright bass player/lead singer,

2) an appropriately overly enthused Australian violin player who bears a striking resemblance to Andrew WK,

3) a mandolin player who plays his instrument like it’s an electric guitar,

4) a dreamy cellist who perfectly fills in all the middle notes,

3) a deceptively intricate drummer,

and a solid hour of excellent music.

MOMS will be releasing their debut full-length soon, they’ve just raised the money to complete it from Kickstarter! Catch them playing “Luminol” below.
